Angelina is all over the place! She gets brave and tries to stand by herself. Can't wait for those first unassisted steps! By they way our surgery date is December 30th.

Our Angelina
Angelina was born March 1, 2007. When she was 2 days old after almost losing her, we learned she had 3 heart defects: An Interrupted Aortic Arch, a VSD and Critical Aortic Valve Stenosis. A week and a half later it was confirmed she had Velo-Cardio-Facial Syndrome (also know as DiGeorge Syndrome and other names). At 2 weeks of age she had her first of 3 heart surgeries: Norwood Stage 1, when she was six months old she had her second: the Glenn Procedure. On December 30, 2008, she had her 3rd and hopefully her last heart sugery, the Fontan. Her recovery has been amazing! Angelina is a spunky, cheerful little girl!

Wow she is doing great. I love all her investigational skills. Hey I never noticed that Angelina was born on my birthday!

She is definitely brave! She will be walking all by herself before you know it. What a little sweetie pie. She and Elijah are only a few weeks apart in age. I think they would be a good pair!

Surgery date...Dec. 30th...I suppose there never really is a good day. At least you'll spend a good Christmas at home...and get to see the fireworks from your hospital window!

She is getting so big! Look at her cruising around the house. And her sweet little voice. Oh I could just eat her up.
